Mental Health Awareness Week
Mental Health Awareness Week
This year, Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 13 to 19 May. The week is designed to improve understanding of mental health and is an opportunity to share advice on helping to prevent poor mental health. Mental Health Awareness Week aims to reduce stigma, promote understanding, and empower people to prioritise their mental health.
The Inn offers a variety of initiative to support Members’ mental health and wellbeing, for example:
· The Survive and Thrive Programme: The Survive & Thrive Programme provides useful guidance on making a successful career at the Bar.
· Counselling: The Inn provides a free counselling service to all students who are currently on the Bar Course or have completed the Bar Course but have not yet been Called to the Bar.
· Pre-Pupillage Wellbeing Assistance Programme: This is a joint initiative between the four Inns for members who have not yet commenced pupillage. This is provided by Health Assured.
