Middle Temple Library is a legal library which holds approximately 30,000 legal titles in 250,000 volumes, including legislation, case law, textbooks, student manuals, loose-leaf publications, journals and law reports. The Library is open to members of all four Inns of Court.

Breakout Spaces You can use our phone rooms for both phone or video calls. But we also have wellbeing room as a breakout space where members can take some time to de-stress and relax. Features include an aromatheraphy diffuser that releases soft scents, an air purifier, and information on key resources and events related to wellbeing at Middle Temple. |

Exhibitions Our current exhibition Mapping the Early Modern Inns of Court will run from May to September 2024 and can be visited during opening hours. Explore a range of pre-1700 books and items from the Inn’s archive highlighting topics such as recreation, literary culture at the Inns, religion and preaching, learning the law and verbal skills, travel and exploration endeavours. |
